Our Telekom has now extended its Breeze GSM mobile service to Tingoa, Rennel Island in RENBEL Province .The Breeze GSM Mobile Service was launched on the 20th July 2009 and the Sales went on for another two days. To mark this occasion, Our Telekom offered a two day Sales Special on mobile handsets, SIM cards and other accessories.

The introduction of GSM mobile service has provided a more affordable means of communication to the wider community there. Gone are the days where only the cumbersome and very expensive VHF/UHF Radio units were the only means of communicating messages to the capital. Now almost anyone can keep in touch with friends and family not only in the capital but anywhere in the world.

It’s a whole new ball game for the rural population. Plus with the lowest mobile to mobile rates in the pacific region and the per second billing mechanism in place, customers could do what they do best. And that is Talk!

The mobile coverage tests done by the engineers produced satisfactory results with very good reception for Tingoa Station and surrounding areas.
